Stupid Rogers

I hate rogers! What I hate even more is their customer service. They basically called me a liar because some moron documented something that he had not told me on my account & basically said that well it's documented so they have no obligations.

Well there's an easy solution and that is that I go back to my old plan. That would make logical sense but apparently the plan I was on no longer exists so once again there's nothing they can do.

Why in the world would I switch to a plan where I pay more than I do right now? Why?

To make things worse, when I said I wanted to cancel they basically said well you renewed your contract when you moved to the new plan and somehow have to pay $400 as an early cancellation fee! I can't wait for more low cost alternatives like Koodo to start entering the space. I have no loyalty to rogers whatsoever & will jump ship as soon as I see something cheaper.

Rogers if you read this....bite me!

I left them the MINUTE I COULD!

They did that trick with me too, switching me to a different plan but not telling me it would cost more OR renew my contract AGAIN to make it last 3 years instead of being expired.

Try calling back again. I got a girl the last time she was SO nice...

I'm with Koodo mobile now (Telus) and I couldn't be happier.

hmmm i hear bad things about rogers but I've had nothing but good experiences with them! I feel so bad for you! I once had a huge bill ($900ish) because I was working in the states in one of two counties identified in fine print as not having an agreement to use their towers or something. I called them and they comped me for it! Now I'm on a my10 deal with them that is unreal too, because I was a student and they were trying to beat telus. Mind you, the my10 is impossible to update unless you want to be on the phone with some jackass for hours, but its a sacrifice I'm willing to make. Maybe I'm just lucky. I had nothing but HORRIBLE experiences with telus so I don't know... I think they're all a bit of a joke, really. I think FB has a good point, try calling back again even if it is infuriating and maybe you'll get someone nicer. Good luck!

I think I will try calling back but don't want to waste another 2 hours on the phone only to get to a dead end.

Once this contract is over (3 friggin years from now) I will definitely look around for better deals because I hate their customer service.

They did the same thing to me!!

I called the customer retention department (say "cancel account during the automated system to get there) and the person I spoke with offered a $200 cancellation fee, and I opt'd for it.


I'm now with Solo (Same as Bell) and they have ulta cheap plans! And i've had zero problems!
